Our Ceremonies
Veil Parasol Temple conducts a wide variety of Buddhist ceremonies throughout the year in accordance with the teachings and practices of True Buddha School. Our ceremonies create sacred opportunities for practitioners to cultivate merit, receive blessings, and deepen their spiritual practice.
Regular Dharma Assemblies
Our temple holds regular dharma assemblies that include chanting sessions, mantra recitation, and the transmission of blessings. These assemblies are open to all practitioners and visitors who wish to participate in collective worship and spiritual cultivation.
Blessing Ceremonies
Blessing ceremonies are conducted for individuals, families, and groups seeking divine protection and good fortune. These rituals invoke the blessings of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and protective deities for health, success, harmony, and the removal of obstacles.
Memorial Ceremonies
We offer memorial ceremonies dedicated to the well-being of departed souls. Through chanting, sutra recitation, and merit dedication, these ceremonies help guide the departed toward favorable rebirths and offer comfort to bereaved families. Services can be arranged for the anniversary of passing and traditional Buddhist observance days.
Special Occasion Ceremonies
Special ceremonies are held to mark significant dates in the Buddhist calendar, including the birthdays of major Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, festival days, and the anniversaries of our lineage masters. These are occasions for collective rejoicing, merit accumulation, and deepened practice.
How to Participate
Visitors are welcome to attend ceremonies as observers or active participants. Please dress modestly and arrive a few minutes before the scheduled start time. For merit dedication to specific individuals or intentions, please contact the temple in advance.
